Details:

I'd like to put a link on an intranet page that takes you directly to a submit page in one of my Mashup Workflows (2009 R1.03).  I'm sure this is documented somwhere, but I can't seem to find it.  Any help would be appreciated.

Or complete the CR on a Intranet page then submits it directly into BM.

If you hover over the submit link, you can read the URL in the bottom of your browser. That URL will take your user directly to the submit page (after the user authenticates, if necessary).

If you right-click anywhere on the submit page, select Properties, go to the Address section, copy the entire link (you may have to scroll in the invisible field).  The users may have to login to the system with credentials if you are not using SSO.  You may also use the Anonymous submission link that you receive for each project if you turn on the ability to submit anonymously via the Project in the Mashup Admin.

Is it possible to pre-fill field data using a URL-based submit?  Title, Description, selection field values, relational field values, etc.?

Did you ever get an answer to this? Getting to the submit form seems straight-forward but it's not clear how to pass additional field values if you want to pre-populate the form with some values (via the URL)

I use this method with pretty good results except for forms that use tabs or group boxes.  I have tried various combinations of the URL to get the Submit Buttons to show as well as the fields in the Tabs but can not get both to work - it is one or the other.

"ProjectPage&Template=submit" seems to give me the buttons to submit but not the data in the tabs.

Any suggestions??

I've been using:

http://.../tmtrack.dll?
ProjectPage&Template=submit&ProjectId=##&TableId=####
or
http://.../tmtrack.dll?
AnonymousSubmitPage&projectid=##

Now, Is it possible to pass the user login variable, the same way that we can pass the ProjectId, TableId, etc.?

Thanks,
Jocelyn

Hi Jocelyn,

If you capture the Post request of the login page, you will see the following: RequestURL=&Action=login&ttAuthUID=admin&ttAuthPWD=admin&Submit=Log+In

So, try using the following parameters in your url:

ttAuthUID=
ttAuthPWD=

Olivier

Thanks for the idea. I tried the following but did not work:
http://serverName/tmtrack/tmtrack.dll?
ProjectPage&Template=submit&ProjectId=#&TableId=#
&ttAuthUID=surveyUser&ttAuthPWD=&Submit=Log+In

I also tried:

http://serverName/tmtrack/tmtrack.dll?
ProjectPage&Template=submit&ProjectId=#&TableId=#
&ttAuthUID=surveyUser&ttAuthPWD=

and also tried:

http://serverName/tmtrack/tmtrack.dll?
ProjectPage&Template=submit&ProjectId=#&TableId=#
&ttAuthUID=surveyUser (since the passwork is blank for this test)

I will keep trying. Best Regards,

Jocelyn,

What's the result of:

http://serverName/tmtrack/tmtrack.dll...

If it doesn't work, what error do you get?
What kind of authentication are you using? And are you using SSO?

I'm not using SSO and I'm using the Pop Up Login Window due to SourceBridge integration.

The result is that I still get the pop up window asking for login credential. And it does not even recognize the login name in the pop up window, so it is blank.
