As member of a team responsible for development and adaptation of Serena SBM/RLC/SSM according to needs of my organiyation, I spend major part of  my working time in the SBM Composer, and I often have... to switch between various Process Apps, modify them and deploy within the process of development.  In order to avoid polluting our application repository with interim versions I usually uncheck "Create new version of Process App elements" checkbox when doing quick deployment. However, as I switch from one Process App to another, value of this checkbox set by me is discarded by the Composer, and thus, after I reopen the Process App, the checkbox is "checked" again. As I usually remove the ribbon toolbar (which leaves only deploy buttons visible) in the Composer to make some room for code windows, the aforementioned checkbox is not visible. As the result of hrese two points (value reset + checkbox hidden), I happen to create new versions of an application when I forget to check again the checkbox value. Therefore I beleive it would make the usage of the Composer more comfortable if the Composer could memorize the value of this "Create..." option for each application ever opened.   Best regards,            Dmitry         More

Add configuration options for single and multi-select fields in forms. Single select fields may only be displayed as a drop down list.  If implementing a survey, it would be nice to have the selection...s be radio buttons and have them listed horizontally across the form. For Multi select fields, I would like to see the ability to alter the layout when choosing the radio button option.  Currently SBM only lists all of the options in a single column.  This creates challenges when trying to make the best use of screen real estate. The last request is to allow for images to be part of the selections.  If you were sizing a software request for instance, you could use images to select the correct value.   More

If you logon to the GUI and then logout the concurrent license will be releases in up to 15 minutes. The webservice concurrent license timeout is 60 minutes. A scheduled report is a webservice call a...nd so this is the same. So scheduled report (or Run transition from notification) consumes concurrent user license and if user does not login from UI, his license is released after 60 minutes (in SBM 11). The concurrent license timeout for webservice calls should be reduced. More

Currently, when you create a new user in SBM, by default it will set en empty password. This is a security concern when using fallback authentication via internal passwords. IT would be great to be ab...le to set a default password, or an option to block login via an empty passsword Having empty passwords by defaults  can be a huge security risk. Unfortunately there seems to be currently no way to set a default password for new users. Alternatively being able to block a login via empty passwords would be a good option as well, since it is not easy to determine on an existing database which users do have empty passwords or not. What we did as a workaround is the following: reset the passwords in the DB for all users to a non-empty value (by carefully conserving credentials of known internal users create new users solely by a copy of existing template users, who have non zero passwords. repeat this process regularly in case users have been created anyway from scratch, inserting empty passwords into the system More
