Enable the system administrator to control the layout or position of the service requests. Currently, the service requests are auto-populated by the Request Center and arrange alphabetically.  The sys...tem administrator would like to have control on the layout and icon size to suit the screen resolution.   Example 1: instead of 6 per row, the system administrator would like to define 3 service request per row for this category.    Example 2: instead of icon based service category or service request, enable the system administrator to choose text link service request More

Every Windows user who shared the same notebook has to install Dimensions CM Web Client multiple times. CM 14.3.3 introduces the Web Client to replace the applet used in earlier version of Dimensions ...CM.  However, the installation is installed on each user. •CC:UsersAppDataRoamingSerena If the notebook is shared by a few users, each user has to install the Dimensions CM Web Client.  This type of installation has 2 implications:   1.  Why must every user who shared the notebook install the Dimensions CM Web client?   2.  Deployment software cannot be used to push the Dimensions CM Web Client installer and install for every notebooks in the network using the administrator user account   The idea is to allow a single Dimensions CM Web Client installation to work for every user. When a manual import of a component version is requested there is no feedback until the import has completed.   This is problematic for version that may take a good bit of time.    A immediate progress bar and/or status feedback would be helpful to at least indicate that the import is proceeding and at what state of completion it is estimated to be. Additionally it appears that if the window in focus is cancelled or move off of, the import is consequently cancelled.  If this is the case it is suggested to kick off the manual import process as a background task so that it can be viewed and returned to at a later point.     More

Matthew Ong added new listing Release Control to include Dimensions RM plug-in provider in Release Manager/Release Control
Release Control to provide Dimensions RM plugins. In the SDLC, requirements are defined by the business.  The development team may generate CRs or development task to work on the requirements.  When t...he development team creates a baseline, it may comprise multiple completed CRs.  The business would like to know which requirements are completed and included in this release.   The business people does not know the relationship of CRs and baselines. The current Pulse and Kiuwan integration leads to full stream scanning instead of changeset.   Currently, when a developer delivers a change to Dimensions CM, Pulse will invoke the Kiuwan to scan all ...the items in the streams.  This approach will give rise to 2 issues: 1.  The stream may contain hundred thousands or more items.  The scan may take hours. 2.  It may breach the daily MLOC scanning limit Kiuwan imposed on specific account. When a developer makes a change, it typically involves a few files.  The idea is to propose the scanning of the changeset instead of the full stream. More
