      Enable display of column values, total field, and % field, in SBM reports, similar to values that appear in reports exported to Excel, and in the case of the %, a formula I created in the Excel versio...n of the report. Provide an option to display bar report column values, even values for column sections in stacked bar reports, inside each column section (with font adjusted accordingly and/or displayed alongside the columns or column sections if the section is too small). Enable display of a total field, in SBM bar and backlog reports.  Total fields appear in Excel report exports, so I figure it would be possible to enable calculation and selection such fields as part of a report footer.  I'm sometimes asked to place a % in the footer of bar and backlog reports.  I created this % with a formula, in the Excel export. Of course, that % is outdated as soon as an item in the report changes its state (the next day, usually).  So I would hope there could be an option in the report to calculate a % in the report and include it in the footer.   More

      Allow the disabling of selections from a single or multi selection field based on the transition context. We are always looking for ways to consolidate forms and simlfy things for our users. It would ...be extremely helpfull if there was a form action that allowed you to filter a fields selection list based off of the transition context. This would open up a lot of possibilities and allow us to repurpose fields throughout our workflows. More

W...hen a Multi-User field type is part of a dependency relationship, in Application Administrator, when setting the dependency values, only a single User is able to be selected for a Multi-User field. As this is a Multi-User field, more than one User should be able to be selected.  I suggest that SBM Application Administrator be updated to allow someone to choose multiple selections for "multi" field types, specifically Multi-User.   Thanks! - Russell More

      Replace (or add) the 'Open custom popup' action with a modal dialog. In Composer, you can place a button or hyperlink on the form. When clicked, one of the actions you can choose is to open a popup. C...urrently, this is still the old standard browser window, with the generic title bar and which by default opens in the upper left corner of your screen (or wherever). The 'Send Email' action is a modal, and it appear an implementation oversight that the other actions (Add File, Add Note, Add Item Link, etc.) are also not using the same modal mechanism (read: enhancement request for the browser UI). I have used custom popups for more verbose help, and would like to use a modal for quick in-place edits or even entire transitions. So, a full enhancement would include more than just 'Open custom popup'. It would have configuration options like: size, location, title, title bar font/color, action buttons, OK/Cancel callbacks, the ability to call form actions to update fields in the parent, etc. Thanks More

      Users have problem with the name of exported excel file from SBM report. They run report and then export results of the report to excel with choice of Open (not save because they do not need to save... this exported report) and then they open and export another report. But excel cannot open the second file with the same name. It would be helpful if exported excel has the name e.g. of exported report instead of “teamtrack.dll”.   More

      It would be great for us if it was possible to cusomise the fields returned for items in the WorkCenter smart search results. It would be great for us if it was possible to cusomise the fields returne...d for the items in the WorkCenter smart search results. At the moment, the clickable item reference is the SBM Item ID (e.g. BUG12345), but it would be great if this could be one of our own Reference numbers, or at the very least if you could check a box to use the "Value Display Format" instead. Jackie from Serena support has already raised an Enhnancement case for this (ENH257608: SWC: Enable the customisation of search results in Work Center) but thought it could be good to raise it here as an Idea too - in case anyone else could expand on the idea further!       Standard Distribution Reports support multi-relational fields in the “Group Row by”, but these fields do not appear in the Advanced Distribution Reports. This is an enhancement request to please add s...upport row grouping for Mult-Relational Fields in Advanced Distribution Reports.    We do not see this ability in 10.1.5.2 but please let us know if it's available in 11.x More

      It would be great if i could specify the Value Display Format (VDF) for a single or multi-relational field on the app that is referencing the item rather than having it set globally for all apps in th...e table. There are situations where the VDF for searches within the table are fine (Searches in the runtime display the results using the VDF) and show the proper amount of data but when i reference that same table in another app the returned data is way too much to be useful. I would like to control the VDF on an app by app basis.  For example, we have built an office locations table that is referenced in multiple applicaitons in our environment. For applications where the full address is needed (say to ship something) a VDF of {country}: {address} {city} {State} {postal code} may be very useful when searching for the right selection. Unfortunately, when i use that same field in my contact table where i just want a user to quickly select what office they work in that VDF is overkill and looks sloppy in a form. Here a VDF of {city} might be more than enough.   To do this i would suggest that when adding a single or multi-relational field to a primary or aux table there is a new area in the Options tab what would allow you to set the VDF. This could appear directly beneath the Application and Table selections fields.  Now i know what you are saying, you can use sub-relational fields to show the data you want an that's true BUT that doesnt change the fact that my initial field where i search for data my be a lot longer than i want it to be to create a visually appealing and understandable form for my users. The ability to specify VDF on a reference by reference way would be a very handy utility for anyone who is using a set of globally shared tables across all their applications.  More
