Update Auxillary Tables Problem

0
Hello

I am trying to update an Auxillary Table in Serena business manager. This table has role information in it. I have been attempting to update it through the "SBM System Administrator" tool. I go to the tables tab and click on the table. I then go to edit and click edit. It takes me to another form where I select the column I want to edit and click edit. After that all of the options are grayed out.

How can I edit the auxillary tables in serena business manager. I am using version 11 on windows.

My goal is to add another line in the table to establish a new user role.

    Brian,

You actually don't use System Admin for this. Actually that's not used much anymore at all. You want to open the Application Administrator and then click on the Auxiliary Data icon. Find your table and you should be able to add a record through there assuming you have the correct permissions. If you don't some can edit your permissions and give you access to that aux table in App Admin as well.

    Hope it helps.

It appears that I have writes on that table but I still can't add a record to it. When I go to edit the table it does not even give me an option to add a record. Are there additional privileges that I need beyond writes to the table....I am a managed administrator on SMB.
