HPQC/RM Integration Logging Modes?

Experiencing unhelpful error messages when attempting to sync requirements between HPQC and RM.
Is there a debugging mode or something comparable to better understand connection and sync failures?
References are non-existing and confusing.

    The logging modes for the SyncEngine are: DEBUG, INFO, WARN, ERROR.
